This photograph taken by Mathew Brady was previously the only known photo of Lincoln at Gettysburg. His face can be seen in the center of the photo. It was taken after he delivered his speech, regarded as one of the greatest in U.S. history.
NEW LINCOLN PHOTOGRAPHS FOUND


(Jan. 17) -- A curator at the Library of Congress found three glass negatives showing the crowd that attended Abraham Lincoln's second inauguration as president, on March 4, 1865. Until the discovery, only two other photos of the event had been known to exist, the library said.
